Response to Killing Us Softly
I'd say I agree with what she was saying. There's not much to disagree with.
The only ads that affect me are ones for video games, and that's because they are the only thing advertised that I'm interested in. Nearly everything else is just a bunch of junk that I don't need or want.

Feed
Feed takes place many years in the future where everyone has some kind of computer in their head. They can look up anything they want, whenever they want. It also seems to be used to advertise many things.
In the beginning of the book, Titus and his friends go to the moon to hang out. They meet a girl who Titus really likes. After a while, someone hacks into their feeds and they are sent to the hospital, where their feeds have been turned off. This is the first time that Titus has had to think for himself without the feed telling him what to do.
The story line of this book is pretty good, but the lingo just makes it nearly impossible to read. The author tried to create slang for this time period, but it's too hard to understand.

Meh
That's about all I can say about Persepolis. It wasn't nearly as bad as I first thought it would be, but there was nothing amazing about it. Being a graphic novel made it pretty interesting, but that was only because it made it easier to read.
