Feed takes place many years in the future where everyone has some kind of computer in their head. They can look up anything they want, whenever they want. It also seems to be used to advertise many things.
In the beginning of the book, Titus and his friends go to the moon to hang out. They meet a girl who Titus really likes. After a while, someone hacks into their feeds and they are sent to the hospital, where their feeds have been turned off. This is the first time that Titus has had to think for himself without the feed telling him what to do.
The story line of this book is pretty good, but the lingo just makes it nearly impossible to read. The author tried to create slang for this time period, but it's too hard to understand.

i agree with you i think this book is terrible and how it won any awards i will never understand
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that the dialogue is crappy in the book. I really thought the plot sounded interesting and was hoping to read this book later. I wish he would have written it in a more simple manner instead of trying to be all cool by using made up words and stuff.
